Thorson's Crown Tournament Gift: Holmgang Scene (top)

In Celebration of His Royal Highness, Sir Thorson Halvorsen’s Splendid Victory in the Tournament of Arms Known as Crown Tourney held On May 1st, XXXIX in Barony of Ruantallan this small chest was created.

Two different designs were employed to decorate this small chest.  The first is a rendition of a holmgang by Mistress Gunnvör sílfrahárr.  A scene depicting a Viking tournament of sorts seemed to be an appropriate focal point for this small chest.
