Viking Knitted Chain

Along with braiding/plaiting techniques the Vikings also created beautiful knitted tubes of metal that were fashioned into neck chains. This chain is created out of fine silver (pure silver, the equivalent to 24k gold). It will eventually takes its place along side two other such chains to be hung off of a pair of box shoulder brooches.
